AELA began in the early 2000s in the basement of guitarist Tim’s house. What started as a group of friends making music together quickly grew into one of suburban Indianapolis’s most sought-after bands.

From the beginning, AELA earned a following by doing more than simply playing familiar songs. The band brought creative arrangements, seasoned musicianship, and the energy of a large concert into local clubs and more intimate venues.

Years later, that friendship remains at the center of every performance. The chemistry is genuine, the fun is contagious, and audiences feel like part of the party from the moment the band takes the stage.
